Hyper rigid structure with the main chassis in 90x90 which will be very rigid in all directions with stiffening brackets. Rigidity is very important to give you all the movement/vibration information sent by the ProSimu PRS 200 actuators.
On the market, there are simulators using 160x40 profiles which are quite rigid longitudinally but not transversely and often with small retaining brackets. These simulators therefore have a lack of rigidity and absorption of information from the cylinder by the chassis instead of communicating this information to the driver.
All the profiles come from France and are cut to the right length and then painted with an oven-baked epoxy paint as a whole. This detail is important: it allows you to receive profiles without aluminum filings, which reduces the risk of scratching the profiles and above all avoids cutting yourself when assembling the different profiles! The paint covers the cut parts, which prevents cuts. This is not found among the main sellers of profiles from China which are sharp and simply anodized.
The paint used is a textured epoxy paint which has the property of not leaving fingerprints. Epoxy paint also helps prevent scratches of all kinds and is more solid than anodizing.
5mm steel caps are also fitted to cover the ends of the profiles, which will give a better finish and robustness than simple plastic caps. To attach these caps, the ends of the profiled tubes have been tapped, this will allow you to easily add options to your simulator if necessary: speakers, decoration, button box, etc.
Prosimu has also developed a super rigid steering wheel support which will allow you to put on the heaviest steering wheel on the market without any risk or even to climb on it to do your cleaning ;-) or to celebrate your victory on the hood of your ProSimu T1000 AL! !!
